JULIUS CAESAR’S JULY

As human as we are, if there are no meaning and some characteristics attached to our lives or names, we wouldn’t have being able to live.

Everyone has his or her unique name. That is why the one who created us in his own image (God) has a meaning to his name and some attribution to it.

The month of July, is also of no exceptional to it meaning. It was known as Quintilis meaning the fifth during the Roman calendar, because it was the fifth month prior to 153 B.C.

In 46 B.C. Julius Caesar, who gave the month of July 31 days, ordered a reform of the calendar and in the process he named the seventh month (July) after himself.

Therefore, what Julius Caesar did made him the first human being to give his name to an entire month of the year.
