IMPORTANCE OF FRUIT IN-TAKE


                          
Eating of fruits after every meal is usually considered as a preserve for the rich and the affluent in society. For the average income earner, this cannot be said to be the case. It has generated the debate as to whether people have not come to terms with the benefits that the body derives from eating fruits.

The term “Fruit” usually means the fleshy seed-associated with structures of a plant that are sweet and edible in its raw state. These include apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, bananas, mangoes and many more. Generally high in fiber, water, vitamin C and sugars, fruits are required for proper long term cellular health and disease prevention. Regular consumption of fruits is associated with reduction of cancer, skin itching, cardiovascular disease and many more.

There are so many reasons why people take in fruit. Some take fruit in other to aid digestion while others use it for voice training. 

However taken fruit according to some people has its side effect on them. But with the right intake of fruit, it helps the doctor stay away.


A consultant at FNS Nutritional, Mrs Rita Quist-Therson said, the regular intake of fruits serves as antioxidants to the human body and with the right proportion, one is sure to have all the needed vitamins and minerals to fight against diseases.
She bemoaned the irregular intake of fruits and appealed to all and sundry to constantly take them since taken of fruits boost one immune system.

When next time you go to the market, visit the grocery and grab a fruit to make you healthy.
